Iceland sees increase of new-registered private companies

Iceland saw an increase of registered private limited companies by 4 percent year-on-year in January 2015, according to the statistics issued on Thursday by Statistics Iceland.

The statistics showed there were 2,010 new registrations in the 12-month period from February 2014 to January 2015, an increase of 4 percent over the 1,929 new registrations in the previous 12-month period.

The highest number of new registrations was 191 in professional, scientific and technical activities, an increase of 36 percent over the 140 in the same activities in the previous 12-month period. Endit
