How do you feel now?

wǒ dōu xiăng chū yuàn le.
我都想出院了。

I even want to leave hospital.

bié zhāo jí, hăo hăor yăng bìng, zhù yì yíng yăng.
别着急,好好儿养病,注意营养。
Don’t be so impatient. You should take a good rest and nourishment.

dà lăo yuăn de, hái ràng nĭ păo yī tàng.
大老远的,还让你跑一趟。
Sorry for making you have a long walk.

yīng gāi de, wǒ gĕi nĭ măi le diănr shuĭ guǒ.
应该的,我给你买了点儿水果。
It’s all right. I bought some fruit for you.

xiè xie, ràng nín pò fèi le.
谢谢,让您破费了。

Thank you for spending money on me.

Paying a visit to a relative or friend who is hospitalized by wound or disease, visitors usually take fresh flowers, fruits or food as a gift. Mike is visiting his Chinese friend Li Li at the Beijing Concord Hospital.

慰问 wèi wèn: to pay a visit

病人 bìng rén: patient

关心 guān xīn: concern

感觉 găn jué: feeling

着急 zhāo jí: to worry

养病 yăng bìng: to recuperate

水果 shuĭ guǒ: fruit

破费 pò fèi: to sped money on…

早日 zao ri: soon

早日康复 kāng fù: to recover
